ABC of ATC’s – A Friendship Swap

Last year Shell, Tricia and I started to make a series of ATC’s to create an A to Z swap.

Tricia and I each had 9 letters and Shell had 8, so she also made the title ATC.

We made the swap in person at Shell’s place in January this year and I have now mounted mine on a canvas, as was the plan.

Maths bores me to tears so having to measure out the spacing, using a combination of centimetres and inches, was no fun!  Worth it in the end though.

Our styles are quite different but the set, as a whole, works so well together. I am very proud of my set and they are now on the wall in my craft space.  Thanks Girls!

  1. Think smart Esther. Use Publisher, specify 12" x 12" paper. Under "Arrange" set all the margins to zero and ask for 4 columns and 3 rows. Never mind about printing it, just pull the rulers down so the zero is at the top corner and you will be able to read off the measurements.

  2. LOL Mum - it would have been even smarter to have phoned you first!

  3. You could also use a Word table and specify the column widths or a spreadsheet and specify the cell width and height.
