This weeks recipe at Dragons Dream Tag It On is A pinch of greenery, buttons and a butterfly or two.
My greenery is a cut on the silhouette using an element from a Kerri Bradford This ‘n That kit. I made my roses by brushing a silicone mould with eye-shadows of varied colours and filling with hot glue (such a fun and fast technique). The moulds are usually used for making fondant flowers and I am slowly building up a nice wee collection. I made my butterfly with two paper leaves and a copper pen nib. The buttons are stamped, punched out and covered with a dimensional product, then popped up on foam.
As usual – not at all what I had intended to make but I am very happy with it.
